Anime Fans Use Our Forums

"Benefits of Free Forums For Groups"

Forums. If you love anime and manga, and want to socialise with other fans, then you'll probably be online using forums. Most forums are free, but have heavy-advertising, making the whole experience slower and that little less fun. Unless adverts flashing across your screen in many colours telling you that you are somehow, out of the millions of people online, the 9, 999, 999th person to visit that site, which means you MAY have won a pen, a car or a Yurt in Wales are your idea of fun. In which case, feel free to skip this next bit, and catch up with the rest of us later....

Well, most people hate them, but want to be part of an online community that is ran by people who love anime as much as they do. People who hate corporate adverts on every page, and want a forum that caters to the whole sche-bang, not just "Who's better than who...". Forums where RPG's are welcome, where you can get the latest news on conventions and where spamming, flaming and general bad feeling are not allowed. Forums that actually want your participation, and that offer alot in return.

Now the people who skipped the anti-ad-rant are back, BOBii-TV has opened a forum. Although BOBii-TV is a commercial site, selling anime, it's ran by fans. The forum is advert free except for the forum banner, the company logo. No other adverts are permitted, not even BOBii-TV's own. You don't have to buy from them to use it, there's no subscription cost and the whole forum is moderated-Everybody should feel safe and comfortable. It's an ezBoard Forum, but the bill is footed by the store, so no ezBoard adverts either. RPG's are welcome (no hentai please!), there is a monthly contest for figures, DVD's or any host of other goodies and just in case you need it, there's a "Who's better than who..." topic. There's plenty more besides. BOBii-TV sends cards and offers vouchers for Birthdays, Christmas and those all important Japanese holidays! They also visit conventions, and try to always be accessible-You can find the admin most times on MSN as BOBii-TV, or drop an email through the BOBii-TV Forum or the BOBii-TV Store.

Visit the forum at p071.ezboard.com/fbobiitvschannel or the store at www.BOBii-TV.com

Joanne Yelland runs BOBii-TV http://www.bobii-tv.com, a website selling anime, manga and japanese toys and goods. She also has satellite stores in Second Life and one on eBay. She is a firm believer that customers should be rewarded for how great they are, which has so far resulted in forums and contests becoming a regular part of her business.
